Person You Could Become
Person You Could Become
We all carry two lives within us.
The one we’re living…
and the one quietly waiting.
Not in some distant future.
Not in a fantasy world.
But right here — just beneath the surface of who you are today.
A version of you that wakes up with clarity instead of confusion.
A version that doesn’t overthink every move.
That speaks truthfully. Moves boldly. Loves fully.
A version that isn’t constantly pulled back by fear, doubt, or old stories.
The question is…
Are you curious enough to meet them?
Because most people aren’t.
They sense that deeper version of themselves —
in moments of stillness…
on long walks…
staring out at the ocean…
There’s a whisper:
“There’s more here.”
But curiosity gets drowned out by comfort.
By routine.
By distraction.
By the endless noise of the mind.
And slowly, that other life…
the one you could live…
fades into the background.
But here’s the truth most people avoid:
You don’t become that version of yourself by accident.
You become them through awareness.
By noticing where you’re holding back.
By seeing the patterns that keep repeating.
By catching the voice in your head that says:
“Not yet.”
“Not you.”
“Stay where it’s safe.”
That voice feels like you…
…but it isn’t.
It’s conditioning.
It’s habit.
It’s the past trying to recreate itself.
And the moment you start to see that clearly —
something shifts.
You stop obeying every thought.
You stop believing every fear.
You create space.
And in that space…
something new begins to emerge.
Becoming who you could be isn’t about adding more.
It’s about letting go.
Letting go of the version of you that was built to survive…
so the version of you that’s meant to live can finally breathe.
Like the ocean…
You don’t need to force the waves to stop.
You just need to realise…
you are not the waves.
You are the space they rise and fall within.
And from that place…
You can choose differently.
Act differently.
Live differently.
So I’ll ask you again:
Are you curious what your life looks like…
when you stop playing small?
Because that version of you already exists.
Not in the future.
But in the choices you’re avoiding right now.
