What Is Possible Today?
This morning, at 5 a.m., I sat with a coffee in complete silence.
No phone.
No music.
Just birds singing and the quiet before the world wakes up.
Then a thought drifted into my mind with the softest of voices.
What is possible today?
I noticed how different that question felt.
Not…
“What do I have to do today?”
Or…
“How busy am I?”
But…
What is possible?
Maybe today I’ll create something that outlives me.
Maybe I’ll have one extraordinary conversation.
Maybe I’ll create a space where someone finally feels safe enough to speak their truth.
Maybe I’ll ask one question that changes the direction of someone’s life.
Maybe I’ll encourage someone who was about to give up.
Maybe today I’ll become just a little more who I’m capable of being.
I don’t think possibility shouts.
I think it whispers.
And you only hear it when you become quiet enough to listen.
Before the emails.
Before the meetings.
Before the noise.
Perhaps the most important question we can ask each morning isn’t, “What do I need to get done?”
It’s…
What is possible today?
