Coaching is built on trust, and so is this website. This page explains, in plain words, what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This website (sailingseabeyond.com) is run by Ross Norman, trading as Sea Beyond, based in Bangkok, Thailand. If you have any question about your information, email hello@sailingseabeyond.com.

What we collect

  • When you get in touch. If you message Ross on WhatsApp, fill in a form or email us, we receive the details you share, such as your name, phone number, email address and message.
  • When you talk to Ask Ross. Ask Ross is an AI voice assistant. Your conversation (your voice or typed messages, and a written transcript) is processed by our provider ElevenLabs so the assistant can reply, and may be stored securely so we can review and improve the service.
  • When you visit the site. Our website platform, Squarespace, collects standard visit information such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location, and uses cookies to make the site work and to show us anonymous visit statistics.
  • When you buy something. If you pay for a session or retreat online, payment details are handled by the payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and arrange coaching, yoga, training or retreats.
  • To provide and improve Ask Ross and this website.
  • To understand, in general terms, how people use the site.

We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run Sea Beyond: Squarespace (website and forms), ElevenLabs (the Ask Ross voice assistant), WhatsApp / Meta (messages), and our payment provider. They handle your information under their own privacy policies. We'll only share it with anyone else if the law requires it.

A note about Ask Ross

Ask Ross is an AI version of Ross. It isn't therapy, medical advice or a crisis service. Please don't share highly sensitive personal details in a conversation. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency services straight away.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as required by law, and then delete it.

Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and similar laws, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just email hello@sailingseabeyond.com and we'll help.

Changes

If we update this page, we'll change the date at the top.
