Why I Love Fridays

Most people love Fridays because the work week is over.

I love Fridays because some of the best coaching conversations of the week are about to begin.

Every Friday, I have the privilege of sitting with people who are ready to stop pretending.

People who have built successful careers but feel something is missing.

People standing at the edge of a major life decision.

People who know they can’t keep living the way they’ve been living.

My job isn’t to give them answers.

It’s to ask the questions that allow them to discover their own.

The moment someone tells the truth they’ve been avoiding.

The silence after a powerful question.

The tears that come when years of pressure finally begin to lift.

The smile that appears when someone remembers who they really are.

Those moments never get old.

Coaching isn’t about fixing people.

It’s about creating a space where they can hear themselves clearly for perhaps the first time in years.

That’s why Fridays have become special to me.

Not because the weekend is coming.

Because every Friday I witness courage.

I watch people choose possibility over certainty.

Truth over comfort.

Growth over familiarity.

One conversation can change the trajectory of a life.

Not because of the coach.

Because of what becomes possible when someone is truly seen, deeply listened to, and asked the right question at exactly the right moment.

That’s what Fridays mean to me.

Not the end of the week.

The beginning of someone’s next chapter.
