Be Open to the Magic and Miracle of Life
Somewhere along the way, many of us forget.
We become so focused on what is missing, what went wrong, what we need to fix, and what we need to achieve that we stop noticing the extraordinary things happening around us every single day.
We stop being amazed.
We stop being curious.
We stop expecting life to surprise us.
But life has always been full of magic.
Not necessarily the magic of fairy tales or impossible things appearing overnight.
The real magic is quieter.
It is the unexpected conversation with a stranger that changes your perspective.
The moment you meet someone at exactly the right time.
The idea that arrives when you finally become still enough to hear it.
The sunrise that reminds you there is something bigger than your problems.
The feeling of being alive when you step outside your comfort zone and do something that scares you.
The miracle is that you are here.
Out of billions of possibilities, you exist.
You have thoughts, dreams, emotions, memories, and the ability to create a life that has never existed before.
That alone is extraordinary.
But we often walk past miracles because we are looking for something bigger.
We are waiting for the perfect moment.
The perfect relationship.
The perfect opportunity.
The perfect version of ourselves.
And while we wait, we miss the invitation life is already giving us.
Maybe the question is not:
“Why isn’t my life where I want it to be?”
Maybe the question is:
“What is life trying to show me right now?”
Because sometimes the greatest transformations happen when we stop forcing and start listening.
When we create space.
When we become open.
When we allow curiosity to replace certainty.
A closed mind looks for proof that nothing will work.
An open heart looks for possibilities.
The person who believes life can surprise them notices opportunities others miss.
They follow the small sparks of intuition.
They say yes to conversations.
They take the journey.
They make the outrageous request.
They allow themselves to dream again.
The ocean teaches this lesson beautifully.
You can’t control every wave.
You can’t control the wind.
You can’t predict every moment of the journey.
But when you stop fighting the elements and learn to work with them, something incredible happens.
You begin to experience the adventure.
Life is not something to completely figure out.
It is something to participate in.
So today, be open.
Be open to the person you might meet.
Be open to the idea that your next chapter could be better than your last.
Be open to a possibility you haven’t imagined yet.
Be open to the magic.
Be open to the miracle.
Because life is always communicating.
The question is:
Are you quiet enough, curious enough, and courageous enough to notice?
