Father & Son Digital Detox

  • Ana Anan Resort and Villa Pattaya 288 Soi Na Chom Thian 20, Na Chom Thian, Thailand (map)

2 Nights | Beach-Based | Phones Off, Presence On

This retreat isn’t about fixing kids.

It’s about remembering how to be together.

No screens.

No pressure.

Just time, nature, movement, laughter, and real conversations — the kind that don’t happen in the car or between notifications.

Designed for fathers and sons to reconnect through play, challenge, calm, and the ocean.

The Intention

Modern life pulls fathers and sons into parallel worlds.

This retreat gently brings them back into the same one.

Through shared experiences on the beach and water, we create space for:

  • Trust without lectures

  • Connection without force

  • Presence without distraction

This is where memories are made — not manufactured.

  • Simple orientation: what this retreat is and isn’t

  • Light competition, lots of laughter

  • Releasing nervous energy after travel and school life

  • A powerful metaphor without ever explaining it

  • Confidence built naturally

Fishing Time

  • Patience, focus, and shared silence

  • Stories tend to surface when hands are busy

  • Fathers teaching without trying to teach

Beach Meditation

  • Short, guided, kid-friendly

  • Learning how to sit, breathe, and notice thoughts

  • Framed as a skill, not a “spiritual thing”

Free Play & Rest

  • Swimming, beach time, shade, snacks

  • Space for organic connection

Evening Reflection

  • Simple prompts:

    • What was your favourite moment today?

    • What surprised you?

  • No forced sharing — listening counts

Day 3 – Integration & Departure

Morning Yoga & Movement

  • Gentle stretching

  • Playful partner movements

  • Ending the retreat feeling open, not heavy

Closing Beach Games

  • One final burst of energy

  • Shared wins, shared effort

Closing Circle

  • Phones returned

  • One word each to describe the retreat

  • Encouragement to take one practice home (walks, no-phone meals, ocean time)

Departure

  • Not “back to normal”

  • Just a little more connected than before

What Sons Often Feel (Even If They Don’t Say It)

  • Seen

  • Safe

  • Proud

  • Calm

  • More confident around their da

This retreat isn’t loud.

It isn’t flashy.

And that’s the point.

It’s a pause.

A reset.

A shared memory that lasts longer than any screen ever could.
